We have been busy so far this month and are excited to keep moving forward! We are wrapping up multiplication this week with our final assessment but will continue to work on our fact fluency as it will help us with division.
I have been so proud of our writers this week as they finished their essays and are now going back to story writing. The growth in our writer's is exciting to see especially in the way they reflect on their own writing to make it better.
In reading we are diving into our character study unit and are learning how important it is to get to know our characters in our books. We can do this by observing what they say and what they do. Then we take those observations and think to ourselves "What kind of person are they" while looking for parts in the book that support our ideas.
